Lanoguard has a set of features and technical specifications which really set it apart. Once you understand these technical features you can really start to work out all kinds of uses for Lanoguard grease and sprays across all kinds of corrosion protection, waterproofing, electrical and lubrication applications. The Lanoguard features are:

Thorough Cleaning

Before we begin the protective treatment, we ensure your vehicle's underbody is spotless. We remove any loose rust, flaking paint, or other debris to prepare for the application of our treatment. Our high-pressure wash, complemented by detailed brushing, wiping and blow dried, guarantees a pristine surface ready for protection. There's no need to worry about existing coatings or minor surface rust; our treatment is designed to bond with and enhance current under sealants.

Precision Grease Application

We target the most vulnerable areas with our Lanoguard Grease to prevent corrosion and seizing. This includes applying grease to weld seams, bolts, and metal threads, which are susceptible to harsh conditions. Our grease is specially formulated to be applied warm, ensuring deep penetration and lasting protection. This step is crucial for areas that endure high stress and exposure, giving you peace of mind that every nook and cranny is shielded.

Expert Spray Coating

With our advanced sprayer equipment, we uniformly apply Lanoguard Spray across the entire underbody of your vehicle. This protective spray is safe for all materials—metals, plastics, and rubbers—creating a robust barrier against the elements. We carefully avoid your vehicle's brake system to maintain optimal safety. The versatility of Lanoguard Spray makes it perfect not only for vehicles but also for a wide range of equipment requiring rust prevention and waterproofing.

Curing and Aftercare

After the treatment, we advise allowing your vehicle to rest for at least 24 hours. This pause allows the Lanoguard to cure into a wax-like finish that's tactile yet resilient. The treatment is self-healing, ensuring continuous protection without the risk of cracking or drying out. To maintain the best condition for your vehicle, we recommend an annual application of our treatment, with the option for more frequent applications for even stronger defence.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS SERVICE COST?

For the initial installation of the Lanoguard underbody protection, we offer our detailed service at £379. This includes a comprehensive application of Lanoguard to protect your vehicle's undercarriage from corrosion, rust, and other common road damages.

To maintain the optimal condition of your underbody protection, we recommend our 12-monthly top-up service at the price of £199. This service is designed to keep the protective layer robust and your vehicle's underbody in excellent condition year-round.
DOES LANOGUARD KILL EXISTING RUST?

Lanoguard prevents and completely stops rust developing further. It will creep, bind, and bond underneath surface rust. It creates a barrier by hermetically sealing to the surface stopping water and oxygen getting in, therefore not allowing rust to develop. Lanoguard doesn’t remove existing rust, but it does bond to the metal surface below – over time it will slowly seep underneath surface rust and push off oxidation. It doesn’t remove rust completely, but it can improve and nourish the surface over time.
CAN LANOGUARD BE USED OVER SURFACE RUST?

Lanoguard is great for chassis with surface rust. It has a natural affinity to ferrous metals and will bond to the metal underneath any surface rust, it acts as a barrier by hermetically sealing to the surface keeping oxygen and water out - stopping any rust from developing further.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DRY?

Lanoguard reaches its final state around 7 to 10 days after application. Day 0 it is “oily” day 3 “soft” and final state is dry to the touch, but you know something is there. Like a candle to feel. Maybe a little softer. It dries to a clear / transparent semi satin wet look and stays that way for some months eventually dulling a little. But always stays clear; and of course, you can jet wash it to clean it back to how it was when you put it on. It is best to not drive the vehicle for 24hours to let it get through the first part of the curing process.
